Lunch Workshop III: Storytelling with ArcGIS StoryMaps!

November 16, 2023, 12:15 pm - 1:15 pm

Ready to make captivating and interactive web stories using traditional media like videos, photos, and quotes, and take it a step further by incorporating dynamic 2D/3D maps? Join us for a quick 1-hour lunchtime workshop that will show you how to bring your story into a web format with maps and interactive elements.

  • Seamlessly integrate photos, videos, and diverse content.
  • Create immersive online experiences with 2D/3D maps, including 3D elements (e.g., city models, graphics, meshes).
  • Share your online experience and tell ‘Your’ Story with a ‘Map.’
  • The tool is free for UZH members!

We’re excited to host a diverse interdisciplinary, hands-on workshop. We’ll kick off with a 10-minute intro, then dive into a practical exercise (possibility to bring your own data or ideas) with assistance. The workshop is intended to get you started but can’t cover everything. Don’t forget your notebooks and secure your free login for the tools. See you there!

*If you want to try out ArcGIS StoryMaps directly in the workshop, make sure you have an ArcGIS Online account. If you do not have one, you can request access here (only for UZH members): Request for Access to ArcGIS Online
