Using GIS to tackle SDGs

September 28, 2023, 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

How can a company, an NGO or an authority use ArcGIS tools to quantify, monitor and keep track of its progress towards a sustainable development goal (SDG)? In this late afternoon event, five speakers from five different perspectives show you how they use ArcGIS, what challenges they face and what the outcome is.

Room: Y21-F-65 theatre hall (on Campus Irchel, follow the signs to “Theatersaal”)

The event is a collaboration between the DSI GIS Hub at UZH and ESRI Switzerland.

The event is targeted to all people interested in using a GIS in their studies, research or job. It is possible to attend only certain presentations – but please be on time. The event is free. For organisational reasons (room size, food and drinks in the break, …) however, we kindly ask you to register (deadline 26.09.2023).
